Recipe: Millet- Multigrain Whey Bread with garlic flavour and hidden herbs and nuts
Kids love to eat breads. This recipe of millet multigrain whey bread with garlic flavour helps to add nutrition to their favourite foods in a convenient way. Kid’s Nutrition is very important nowadays and preparing healthy food recipes for a child is not an easy task. Let’s try to make every healthy food recipe for a child more tasty and nutritious with (hidden) veggies, herbs and nuts. Check this recipe of millet multigrain whey bread with garlic flavour babies, toddlers and kids.
- 2 cups millet mix of Jowar (sorghum), and amaranth flour or whole wheat flour
- Salt as per taste
- Whey to knead the dough soft and sticky (see preparation of whey above)
- Seasoning Oregano (optional)
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 tsb garlic paste
- sesame seeds of garnish (optional)
- 2 tbsp psyllium husk (optional)
- 1 tsp yeast
- 4 tbsp Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here)
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
Mix all and knead soft sticky dough. Leave to rise for 2-3 hours covered with dry cloth and loose lid in a dark space. Once done, make small balls with holes in centre and keep on lined baking tray. Stick sesame seeds on top or brush with milk or egg or honey. Cover with dry cloth to rise for another 30 min. Preheat oven at 200 for 5 min and bake for 20 minutes. Take out and let it cool on rack.
