Recipe: Poha Cookies with hidden herbs and nuts

We know that preparing and feeding healthy foods everyday is a huge task. Even more tough when kids are picky eaters. Kids prefer certain foods and formats. It is not easy to feed kids bitter Ayurvedic herbs, variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds everyday.
Mixed with Ayurvedic herbs, this unique product is an easy solution to feed daily nutrition for Immunity, Brain development, Bone strength and overall-growth to kids without any fuss.

Mix Flour, cocoa, cranberries, melon seeds,Dark choco chips, jaggery
Add 3 tbsp Iyurved’s 5 Herbs & 7 Nuts savoury spread (order here)
Scoop balls and place on baking sheet. Bake them for 7-8 minutes.
After 7-8 minutes take them out and press flat. Sprinkle sugar, if desired.
Bake again for 8 minutes. Serve once cooled.


  • ½ cup Poha (beaten rice)
  • ½ cup any flour (jowar/ Sorghum, Rye, wholewheat)
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup jaggery
  • Handful Choco chips
  • Handful cranberries (optional)
  • 3 tbsp Iyurved’s 5 Herbs & 7 Nuts savoury spread (order here)
  • Milk/ Nut milk (enough to make sticky dough)
  • Sugar (any)

Mix all and make balls. Place on baking sheet. Preheat at 180 celsius. Bake for 8 minutes. Take out the cookies and flatten with a spoon. Sprinkle sugar. Place back in for another 8 minutes. Take them out. Cool them. Serve!
