Recipe for bAKED Falafel lovers made with mixed beans, nuts and herbs

Preparing baked falafel with mixed beans helps to add nutrition in a convenient way. This is a great recipe for falafel lovers. It is healthy and tasty too. Ingredients & Procedure:

  • Wash and soak kidney beans, chickpeas, black-eyed bean or any other beans (rajma, chola, lobia) overnight in little water as required.
  • Pressure cook them till soft in least water (retain water).
  • Mash them in grinder using their own water (as little as possible) with 1 pod of ginger and garlic
  • Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, cumin powder, salt, or any other seasoning you desire.
Add any nut spread or Iyurved’s 7 nuts and 5 herbs spread (order here)
Add handful of oats till the mixture comes together like a dough
Scoop round balls and place on baking sheet

Preheat oven 200 C for 5 minutes. Grill for 20 minutes or till golden brown and crispy.
