Sprouts Pizza: A healthy millet Pizza recipe with hidden nuts and herbs

Kids love to eat pizza. Preparing a sprouts pizza with a healthy millet pizza base helps to add nutrition to their favorite foods in a convenient way. This pizza is healthy and tasty too. Ingredients & Procedure:

First make dough using equal parts of different millet flours. Secondly add 3 tbsp psyllium husk or 1 boiled potato or 1 sweet potato and 1 tbsp nutritional yeast. Then add salt as per taste and Season wtih Oregano flakes. Now add enough water or some yogurt along with it to make sticky soft dough. Then keep dough covered with dry cloth and loose lid inside a dark space. Finally, leave to rise for 2-3 hours.

Roll millet pizza base. Then apply sauce (made of Pine nut + basil + 1 garlic + sesame seeds + Add 3 tbsp Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here) + little nut milk/ milk to blend all in a blender). And add chopped onions, sprouts (pea sprouts or alfalfa or other greens) and top it with cheddar cheese or other. Next sprinkle some salt. Healthy pizza base made with millets
Ingredients:
  • ½ cup Jowar (sorghum)
  • ⅓ cup wheat or tapioca flour
  • ½ cup cooked oat
  • Salt and oregano
  • Nutritional yeast (optional)
  • Water to make a soft dough
Method:

Mix all this and make a soft sticky dough for millet pizza base. Leave to rise for an hour.

Sauce:

  • Preheat oven for 5 min. Roll millet pizza base and apply Iyurved’s herb and nut spread and pizza sauce. Sprinkle cheese, bake for 10 min at 220C and nutritious pizza is ready to serve.
