Healthy papad recipe with hidden herbs and nuts

Kids love to eat pasta. This healthy papad recipe helps to add nutrition to their favourite foods in a convenient way. Ingredients
  • 4-5 lizzat papad
  • Medium size onion
  • Small tomato
  • Medium size capsicum
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • Ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Schezwan sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts Savoury spread (order here)
Procedure

Cut papad into stripes. Boil water with half teaspoon oil. Put papad stripe into water and boil on low flame for 5 minutes. Strain the papad stripe and keep it aside. Heat oil in pan. Put grated ginger garlic, finely chopped onion, capsicum and sauté till onion become translucent. Add tomato, salt, Schezwan sauce and Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts Savoury spread (order here). Sauté 4-5 times and switch off the gas flame. Put boiled papad stripes, mix well and cover the dish for 2 minutes. Healthy papad pasta is ready to serve.

Let’s try to make every healthy food recipe for a child more tasty and nutritious with (hidden) veggies, herbs and nuts. Check this recipe of pasta sauce which is red in colour for babies, toddlers and kids.

Heat oil and add garlic. Add tomato puree. After 5 min, add Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here), nutritional yeast, seasonings and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Add red capsicum puree to the tomato sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 tsp jaggery/ sugar. Switch off gas. Add basil leaves. Add cheese in the mixture or on top of the serving.
  • 1 Red capsicum (roast and peel charred/black skin)
  • Puree capsicum
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • Ghee or Oil for preparation
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • Few basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp Seed powder (sunflower and pumpkin) or Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here)
  • 1 tbsp Nutritional yeast (optional)
  • Oregano, salt, pepper, turmeric powder
