What is sensory overload?

Overstimulation of one or more of the body’s five senses is known as sensory overload. Many autistic children have difficulties processing sensory information. 1.Brushing the teeth

On the other hand, some children are overly sensitive when anything goes near the mouth. DBT is a kind of cognitive-behavioural therapy that seeks to alter behaviour by helping people acknowledge and embrace their emotions. When a child has tantrums frequently and is irritated most of the time, DBT-C may be beneficial.
