Ingredients
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (yes! you can puree raw or after roasting )
  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper for taste
  • Coriander chopped for garnish
Procedure

  • Combine ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth. Garnish.Serve with roti, wrap, bread, crackers, pasta or pizza sauce or raw vegetables.

    Recipe for Healthy Crackers

    Ingredients FOR MiLLEt crackers recipe:

    • 1 cup rye flour
    • 1 cup Jowar (Sorghum) or whole-wheat flour
    • 1/2 cup pumpkin seed or mix of seeds (sesame, sunflower)
    • 5 tbsp Iyurved’s Daily nutrition Savoury spread (order here)
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder or ½ tsp vinegar
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp honey or any maple syrup
    • 1 egg or 1 tbsp flax-egg (1 tbsp flaxseed powder mixed with 6 tbsp warm water. Leave for 5 min to make a paste)

    Procedure FOR MILLET CRACKERS RECIPE:

    1.  Preheat oven at 150 celsius. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat the egg with one cup of water or prepare flax-egg, and then pour into the dry mixture. Knead into a smooth and firm dough. If the dough is not coming together can take few spoons of warm water.

    2. Roll dough out as thinly as possible. Cut into three-inch squares. Place squares on your lined baking sheets. Bake for 30 minutes, then flip each cracker over on the tray and bake for another 30 minutes. Keep an eye, they shouldn’t burn (oven size matters). Healthy multigrain crackers are ready. Once cooked, remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool. Store in a sealed container for few weeks.

    Heat oil and add garlic. Add tomato puree. After 5 min, add Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here), nutritional yeast, seasonings. Cook for 5 minutes.
    Add red capsicum, carrot, beetroot puree to the tomato sauce. Cook for 5 minutes. Add 1 tsp jaggery/ sugar. Switch off gas. Add basil leaves. Add cheese in the mixture or on top of the serving.
    • 1 Red capsicum (roast and peel charred/black skin)
    • Puree capsicum
    • ½ beetroot
    • 2 carrots
    • 2 garlic cloves chopped
    • Ghee or Oil for preparation
    • 3 tomatoes, pureed
    • Few basil leaves

    • Oregano, salt, pepper, turmeric powder

    Ingredients
    • 1 cup banana stem
    • 1 cup sprouted Broad beans(Sem)
    • Single cup wheat flour
    • 1 cup sorghum flour
    • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds
    • Salt to taste

    Procedure

    Grind banana stem and sprouted broad bean to make paste. Take wheat flour and sorghum flour in bowl. Put the paste, carom seeds and salt in it. Add Iyurved’s Weight Savoury spread (order here) and mix well to make soft dough. Take a small ball and roll the paratha evenly. Put on tawa/skillet. Cook for sometime and flip over. cook on both sides till it turns golden. Tasty nutritious banana stem paratha is ready to serve. Great for digestion.

    • 1 cup Sprouted white beans/ Lima beans
    • 1/2 cup Almond powder
    • 1/4 cup coconut powder
    • 2 tbsp ghee
    • 1/4 cup Milk/ Nut milk

    • 1/4 cup Dates and figs
    • 2 tsp Cardamom powder
    Procedure
    • Grind the sprouted white beans or Lima beans with milk and make a paste.
    • In a pan, add ghee, followed by almond powder, coconut powder and roast well. Then, add cardamom powder to this and keep aside.
    • Now puree the dates and figs with milk and add this paste to the above roasted powder.
