Recipe:
2 eggs or 2 tbsp chia or flaxseeds powder soaked in 6 tbsp warm water till it becomes lumpy
2 mashed banana
1 tbsp butter or Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here)
1.5 cup wholewheat flour or almond flour
¾ tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 small apple cut in small chunks
Honey (optional)
Chocochips (optional)
PROCEDURE:
Preheat oven at 175 celcius for 5 min.
Mix eggs/ chia or flax paste, banana, and butter or Iyurved’s 5 herbs and 7 nuts savoury spread (order here) in a bowl.
Add flour, baking soda, apple chunks, salt to the bowl and Mix well. Feel free to add chocolate chips to the mixture
Taste the mixture for sweetness or else add honey
Divide batter to muffin pan or moulds.
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until golden

1/3 cup each semolina, Jowar/ wheat flour, oats and melon seeds
Place rolled cookie with baking sheet on the middle rack. Bake as a single piece at 200 for 15 min. Once edges begin to brown, take it out.

Soak dates in hot water for 5 minutes and puree them. Now cook dates puree and add remaining water along with jaggery in a NON STICK pan. Once the syrup becomes thick and starts becoming a darker colour (in 5-7 minutes), add the powder of cashew nut to the pan. Add milk and ghee. Now keep stirring till the mixture starts to come together and becomes like a dough (5-7 minutes). Turn off the stove. Add cardamom powder to the mixture and mix.
Take butter paper and apply some ghee to it and spread the mixture on it. Let it cool outside or refrigerate once cool. Cut in any shape.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and add Iyurved Daily Nutrition Savoury Spread (order here).
Make sticky dough
Cover the dough in the bowl with dry towel and a lid and leave to rise double or 2 hours in a dark place
Preheat at 200 celsius for 5 minutes.
Transfer dough to a surface. Use lots of any dry flour and roll to shape dough into a log and tuck in the sides to make it fit the bread loaf pan (grease the pan if necessary).
OR can also bake dough in a pie round shape (see left pic)
Add sesame seeds on top of the bread for added nutrition (optional)
Slit dough top with sharp knife
Bake at 200 celsius for 60-70 minutes at lower/middle rack
Once done, leave to cool completely on a rag outside.

Roast Ragi/ millet
Once aromatic add Ghee and Iyurved Spread
Keep Roasting till change in colour (keep low flame)
Take water and jaggery and melt
Once mixture thicken slightly, add mixture.
Keep mixing. Add more water if the paste becomes too hard to mix.
Soon the mixture will be cooked well and will leave edges. Add Cardamom powder.
Serve this millet halwa garnished with nuts and cardamom powder.

Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges/ Fries
Pre heat oven for 5 min at 200 celsius, peel the sweet potato 🍠 cut them into wedges or fries shape. Toss the wedges in drops of ghee or oil, salt (we recommend rock salt ). Place the wedges on a baking dish, bake for 25-30 minutes. Healthy snack for kids is ready to serve.

Dates Energy Bars
Clean the dates and remove seeds. Add walnuts, almonds and coconut to a food processor. Pulse till dry fruits are broken into pieces. Repeat till dates are crushed and mixed with dry-fruits.

For Pink: Puree beetroot with least or no water. Add 1 cup flour or as little required to make dough. For Green: Take moringa powder. Add flour as little required to make dough.
To each flour, divide rest of the ingredients and add- spread, yeast, husk, seeds, salt. Make firm doughs. Take small balls of dough, roll thin and make paratha/ tortillas.

2 cups whole wheat flour or jowar (sorghum flour)
3 tbsp Psyllium husk
Salt
Carrom seeds (optional)
1 tsp Nutritional yeast (optional)
If you don’t have moringa powder, take any leaf- spinach or kale, steam it lightly without water and puree well. Don’t add extra water. Add flour to this puree to make green dough, along with other ingredients.

For small kids who can’t have honey, give this syrup
Recipe: Turmeric & Honey Immunity Balls
Roast 1 tbsp turmeric, once the colour turns light brown and aromatic, take it off
Add 1 tsp honey
Next add 1tsp or more jaggery powder
Now add ½ tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
Add 1 tsp dry ginger powder (optional)
Lastly add mashed dates (optional)
Check the consistency to make round tiny balls or tablet shapes or add more honey to keep it a syrup (as child likes)
Give kids 1-2 tablets or 1-2 tsp syrup in a day, preferably before bedtime and avoid any cold food or fruits just after giving these. Can also add this syrup or tablet to warm milk till and mix well.
