Recipe of beetroot methi paratha

A child weighing 30kg requires 15g of Fibre and 25g of Protein everyday.

Ingredients: Beetroot, fenugreek leaves, wholewheat flour, carom seeds.

Beetroot:

Beetroot are one of the natural antioxidant rich foods that helps in enhancing your kid’s immune system. They are loaded with vitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin C and vitamin E and minerals like iron, magnesium, which help to prevent several diseases, especially diarrhea which is most common in kids.  It also has an anti-inflammatory compound called betalain, which helps to protect the liver from oxidative damage and inflammation. Spinach is one food which has a never-ending list of benefits, densely packed with over 15 vitamins and minerals– vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese, folate, copper, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin E, vitamin C, calcium, zinc, fibre, phosphorus, choline and antioxidants. If your luck works, and your child agrees, you can top up the meal with a magic chutney made by grinding yoghurt (½ cup), freshly grated coconut (½ cup), almonds and peanuts (½ cup) and garnish with a mix of roasted flax seed powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. This chutney will further increase the protein, calcium and fibre content of the meal.
